Depression is one of the most prevalent mental health conditions worldwide, affecting millions of people regardless of age, gender, or cultural background. The condition not only impairs emotional well-being but also has profound effects on physical health, relationships, and day-to-day functioning. With the increasing global recognition of mental health’s importance, there is a pressing need to raise awareness and break the stigma associated with mental illnesses like depression. This article delves deeper into the causes of depression, its symptoms, the impact on mental health, and why mental health awareness is crucial for global well-being.
