Abstract
Chronic eosinophilic leukemia?not otherwise specified (CEL?NOS) is a rare disorder with hypereosinophilia and an increased number of blood or bone marrow blasts (<20%) or an evidence of eosinophilicclonality. It constitutes a new entity in the 2008 revised World Health Organization classification (WHO). We report a case of CEL?NOS in an 18 year old male who presented with extensive thromboembolism.
