A Prospective Observational Study on the Quadruple Therapy of Post Cabg and Ptca Patients in a Tertiary Care Hospital

Abstract
This study presents a prospective observational study on the efficacy of quadruple therapy in post-percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) patients at a tertiary care hospital. The study involved 250 patients and focused on evaluating the impact of comprehensive treatment involving dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT), statins, beta-blockers, and ACE inhibitors/ARBs on the secondary prevention of cardiovascular events. The findings suggest that quadruple therapy is highly effective in reducing adverse cardiovascular outcomes and promoting recovery in post-revascularization patients. The study emphasizes the importance of comprehensive post-operative care, integrating medication management with lifestyle and dietary modifications to improve long-term health outcomes in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).
