Methods: 36 children with spastic CP (age group: 8-15 years), undergoing regular conventional physical therapy program, were assigned to this study. Baseline trunk control was recorded using the Trunk Control Measurement Scale (TCMS). Further readings on TCMS were recorded immediately and shortly after 48 hours of application of Kinesio Tape bilaterally on the paraspinal area. Results: One-way analyses of variance (ANOVA) test showed statistically significant difference in the trunk control immediately after KT, and after 48 hours of KT, F (1.492,52.21) = 38.44; p<0.1. Conclusion/Significance: The findings in this study demonstrate that the application of KT provides significant functional outcomes in terms of immediate and short-term effects on sitting trunk control in children with spastic CP.
